{"id":236,"date":"2013-12-24T00:19:23","date_gmt":"2013-12-24T00:19:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.collaborativepracticechicago.com\/hp_wordpress\/?p=236"},"modified":"2014-10-05T02:39:53","modified_gmt":"2014-10-05T02:39:53","slug":"maybe-santa-tells","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.collaborativepracticechicago.com\/hp_wordpress\/archives\/236","title":{"rendered":"Maybe if Santa tells you?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sometimes I work with clients who firmly believe that &#8220;I know what&#8217;s best for the children.&#8221;\u00a0 And then of course s\/he and the other parent get into an argument over whose thoughts about &#8220;what&#8217;s best&#8221; will prevail.<\/p>\n<p>I talk to them from my experience [not as a parent, but as a divorce professional], I refer them to mental health professionals.
